In Mystic Country, we celebrate our Nation's independence throughout the month of July. We've compiled a list of fireworks displays happening throughout the region... (times may change due to weather or sunset.)

JUNE 23

Hot Summer Fun Kick Off Party at Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, 9:15pm
Summer starts in style on the Riverview Garage rooftop with the return of the Tiki Bar, food & drink specials, games and a fireworks extravaganza! (Family-friendly kick-off party starts at 5pm. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

JUNE 28

Ocean Beach Park, New London, at dusk
A family-fun concert with Steve Elci & Friends starting at 8pm and fireworks at dusk! Parking rate is $5 per car.

JULY 3

Killingly Red White and Blue BBQ, Owen Bell Park, 9:15pm
Come enjoy a BBQ and live entertainment, starting at 6pm. BBQ is $8 per person, (pre-sold at the Parks & Recreation Office). Fireworks are free. 

Location: Owen Bell Park is located on the north side of Route 101, just west of I-395 in Dayville

JULY 4

Dodd Stadium, Norwich, after final out

The Connecticut Tigers invite fans to join them at Dodd Stadium on Thursday, July 4, for a special Fourth of July Celebration featuring post-game fireworks as the Tigers take on the Vermont Lake Monsters at 7:05 p.m.

JULY 5

25th Annual Norwich Fireworks Extravaganza, Norwich, 9pm
A downtown/waterfront event starting with activities and events throughout the downtown and ending with a fireworks display on the waterfront.

JULY 6

Putnam 4th of July Celebration, Putnam, 9:15
Free live music at 7pm followed by a giant fireworks display 9:15pm.

Location: Rotary Park, Putnam 

Odetah Camping Resort, Bozrah, at sundown
Parking available on the road, not in the campground area. No admission fees.

Location: 38 Bozrah Street Extension, Bozrah

14th Annual Summer Dance Fest, Lebanon, at sunset
Featuring live music, food and activities. Festival starts at 5pm.

Location: On the Town Green, Trumbull Highway (Route 87), Lebanon

JULY 12

Dodd Stadium, Norwich, after final out
Connecticut Tigers vs. Williamsport Crosscutters. Game starts 7:05pm.

JULY 13

Mashantucket Pequot Fireworks Extravaganza sponsored by Foxwoods Resort Casino, New London, at dusk
Sponsored by the Foxwoods Resort Casino, this fireworks display takes place during New London's annual Sailfest - a three-day festival (July 12-14) along the historic waterfront featuring amusements, live entertainment, concessions, tall ships and much more.

JULY 19

Annual Costume & Silly Hat Parade, Ocean Beach Park, New London, at dusk
A New London tradition led by Grand Marshall Tony Pero starting at 7:30pm.  All participating children will receive a treat bag and small toy. Parking rate is $5 per car.

JULY 20

Celebrate East Lyme Festival, East Lyme, 9pm
Great music, delicious food, tons of street vendors, the ever popular Sand Castle competition, Niantic Bay Raft Races and, of course, fireworks over Niantic Bay.
