Days & Hours Open: Our Winery Is Open Year Round!
Friday, Saturday and Sundays 11:00 am to 6:00 PM. Beginning in April thru December we are also be open Thursdays, 11 am till 6PM, & Fridays 11 am to 9 pm, and in June thru November we open Mondays through Sunday.


Directions: From Route 95, take Exit 88.   At the foot of the exit ramp, proceed North on CT 117 for 6.5 miles.  The vineyard is on the left hand side.
From Foxwoods Casino: Just a 5 minute ride.   Take Route CT 214 West to the intersection of Route CT 117.   Bear right and proceed north on Route CT 117 for 1/3 mile, winery and vineyards on the left hand side.
From Mohegan Casino:  10 minutes and you’re here.   Take 2A East, passing over the Thames River Bridge.   At the traffic signal go left on Route 12 North for 2,000 feet.  Take a right on to Route 2A, at the Church take a right on to Route 117 South, and proceed 5.5 miles.  The Vineyards are on the right side of Route 117.

Maugle Sierra Vineyards and Winery is located in the rural town of Ledyard, Connecticut, on an 18th century, 97 acre farm.   Established in 2002, by Paul and Betty Maugle, Maugle Sierra Vineyards is dedicated to producing premium Connecticut and New England Grown wines.   Handcrafted, to enhance flavours, Maugle Sierra wines  from premium New England, and Estate Connecticut grapes, highlight Southern New England's unique micro climates.  Simply put, wines to warm the heart.

We welcome you to visit our Sierra Sunset tasting room. Enjoy the  warm, relaxing atmosphere.   Share a sunset and some wine with a close friend; taste our wines, enjoy a picnic, and browse our gifts of wine related items and special local treats.  Each season has its own unique charm, and we encourage you to visit whenever you have some time for your self or a romantic rendezvous.
