Quaddick State Park was once the site of the town farm where elderly residents spent their reflective years. Prior to that, it had been a fishing area of the Nipmuck Indians. The reservoir and sandy beach draw crowds during the summer months.

Historic Roseland Park opened in 1876. It consists of 60.3 acres of wooded land and waterfront along Roseland Lake. Although the park is private property, it is open to the public.
