Guests of the inn have access to our private beach in Weekapaug, a beautiful natural barrier beach stretching for two miles along the shores of Quonochontaug Pond and the Atlantic Ocean.

The Shelter Harbor Inn houses twenty four guest rooms; ten in the Main Farmhouse, ten in the Barn (Annex Building), and four in the Carriage House. The rooms are charmingly furnished with an eclectic mix of antiques, period pieces, and country beach cottage decor. Several rooms have working fireplaces and private terraces, and all rooms have private bathrooms and include amenities (WIFI, cable television, telephone, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, etc).

The Shelter Harbor Inn is open 365 days a year and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for the pleasure of our guests, travelers and neighborhood friends.

Our chefs prepare a creative cuisine that changes seasonally using only the freshest of ingredients, and seafood from local waters.

Our guests come from around the world to enjoy exquisite dining and to indulge in some of the best wines from our extensive American wine list.

Shelter Harbor Inn also offers catering throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut.
