Set amid almost five acres of gardens, fields and forest, Another Second Penny Inn is within three miles of downtown Mystic, historic Stonington Borough, Mystic Aquarium, and the Mystic Seaport Museum. Perfect for quiet, romantic walks or reading in a secluded hideaway, you are welcomed by the ambience of a home that has for three centuries provided shelter and respite.

Our guestrooms are thoughtfully appointed and include such amenities as fluffy bathrobes, hair dryers, custom toiletries, individual refrigerators (stocked with bottled water and soda), irons and ironing boards, wireless high speed internet access, cable TV/VCR and clock radios.

The Denison Room is situated on the east side of the house and overlooks the barn and back gardens. This lovely, large room has a fireplace and spacious en suite bath equipped with a jetted clawfoot tub for your enjoyment. The queen-sized four poster bed, writing desk, dresser, arm chairs and roomy “his and hers” closets make this room an ideal choice for any visit.

The Noyes Room is a beautiful front room overlooking gardens and our barn. A private bath with tub/shower combination is immediately adjacent. This room can be made up with either a king-sized bed or two twin beds. A rocking chair, a writing desk/dresser and a large closet complete the furnishings. This room is pet-friendly and can accommodate one friendly pet plus two humans.

The Russell Suite was used as a dance hall when Colonel Russell ran his Tavern here in the middle of the 18th Century. This two-room suite faces west with a view of the Road Meeting House and the setting sun. Furnished with a queen-sized four poster bed, writing desk, dresser and large closet, and a day bed in the sitting room. The Russell Suite has a fireplace and an en suite bath with jetted clawfoot tub.

Our breakfast is an event not to be missed as evidenced by our national award for the Best Breakfast in New England. Guests delight in New England favorites such as doughnut muffins, summer scrambled eggs (fresh from our own hens), blue berry stuffed French toast, the famous "egg thingie", a choice of quality breakfast meats, seasonal fruit dishes and homemade preserves and sorbets. The five courses ensure that no one leaves the table wanting for anything! We happily accommodate light appetites, food allergies and other special requests.

Children over 8 years old are welcome at Another Second Penny Inn. One child can be accommodated in the Russell Suite or children may stay in their own room if they are old enough to do so.
