Mystic Country, Connecticut

Sailfest is Southeastern Connecticut's premiere summertime event attracting over 300,000 people over the three-day festival. Complete with a major fireworks display, amusement rides, free entertainment, Tall Ship, and over 100 vendors lining the downtown streets.

This year OpSail2012 visits Sailfest.

OpSail visit the Thames Harbor in Connecticut for OpSail2012. See historic tall ships from around the world, led by the United States Coast Guard Barque Eagle during the famous parade of sail's visit to its sixth and final port stop. OpSail2012 will commemorate the Bicentennial Anniversary of the War of 1812 and America's national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner".

First aid and emergency station is located at the Boat House at the base of the Custom House Pier on the New London Waterfront Park.
