The Silver Circle Gallery in Putnam, CT is proud to announce the upcoming show “Daydream Believer”, an exhibit of recent works by local artist Amy Kalisher. This show will present a variety of pieces in both gouache and collage. The work chosen and show concept reflect the distinct processes she incorporates using these two mediums and the relationship between the two as she embarks on a personal creative endeavor using intuition while tapping into universal forces.

Amy Kalisher studied art, graphic design, and creative writing at Hampshire College and the Rhode Island School of Design. She taught at RISD and Roger Williams University. Her studio time is divided between digital and traditional art-making, graphic/web design, writing, and music composition. When not in the studio, you’ll most likely find her in the garden, riding her bicycle, or concocting something scrumptious and unrepeatable in the kitchen.
