Join us at Oyster Club to celebrate Bob Spitz's new book Dearie and enjoy the menu that inspired Julia to take up a lifelong pursuit of French cuisine.  Julia's first meal in France, the one that changed her life forever was at a very famous Michelin star restaurant in Rouen.  She had a 4 course meal.....6 raw oysters, sole meuniere, simple green salad, and cheese for dessert.  It was a meal that she would always refer back to throughout her career as the meal that inspired her to learn French cooking.  We will re-create this menu for all to enjoy!  

Tickets for this event are $75 and include the 4course dinner inspired by Julia's memorable meal, a signed copy of Dearie: The Remarkable Life of Julia Child, and readings/discussion with Bob Spitz, author of several books including Yeah! Yeah!
