Kids seven and under have a place all their own – the Children’s Museum at Mystic Seaport. Here, young sailors can swab the deck, move cargo, cook in the galley, dress in sailors’ garb and even sleep in ships’ bunks. And to think people used to complain about the sailor’s life.

Nature Center »

The Nature Center offers a variety of interesting weekly and monthly environmental education programs for participants of all ages. Kids can get a close-up view of live frogs, fish, turtles and snakes safely nestled in the museum or take a walk with the parents to see and discover the animals in their natural habitat.
